Ingredients for “Coffee with Chocolate” Cake:
- Strongly brewed coffee with sugar – 1/2 cup (120 ml)
- Cookies – 500 g (1.1 lbs)
- Granulated sugar – 1 cup (200 g)
- Eggs – 4
- Cocoa powder – 1 tablespoon
- Unsalted butter – 250 g (1 cup)
- Vanilla sugar – 1 teaspoon
Instructions for “Coffee with Chocolate” Cake:
- Prepare the cream. Over a double boiler, cook until thickened: granulated sugar, eggs, cocoa powder, and vanilla sugar.
- Allow it to cool to room temperature, then add softened butter and beat until smooth.
- Soak the cookies in coffee and layer them in a cake mold (preferably a detachable one), spreading each layer with the prepared cream.
- Refrigerate for 1.5 hours.
