  • 1/2 small red chili pepper
  • 2 cm (0.8 inch) fresh ginger root

  • 400 g (14 oz) thin rice noodles
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 150 g (5 oz) frozen green beans
  • 100 ml (3.5 fl oz) water and vegetable broth
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sugar
