Ingredients for the Dessert:
- Gelatin – 30-40 g
- Milk – 2 cups (about 480 ml)
- Low-fat cottage cheese – 500 g (about 1.1 lbs)
- Low-fat sour cream or yogurt – 400 g (about 1.7 cups)
- Granulated sugar – 3/4 cup
- Vanilla sugar – to taste
- Cocoa powder – 2 tablespoons
How to make Vanilla-Chocolate Cottage Cheese Dessert:
- Soak gelatin in milk and let it swell for 1-1.5 hours. Place the swollen gelatin and milk mixture on low heat, stirring constantly, until fully dissolved.
- Add sugar and vanilla sugar to the gelatin-milk mixture, stir until completely dissolved, and let it cool to room temperature.
- Strain cottage cheese through a sieve or blend until it reaches a paste-like consistency. Add sour cream to the gelatin mixture, mix well, and combine with the cottage cheese mass.
- Divide the resulting mixture into 2 parts. Add cocoa powder to one part and mix thoroughly.
- Pour the light layer into a mold and refrigerate until set. Alternatively, you can place the mold in the freezer for 15-20 minutes.
- Once the first layer has set, pour the second layer and let it set again.
- Once the dessert is completely set, you can cut it into individual pieces and garnish with fruits or chocolate.
Enjoy your meal!
