Ingredients:

  • 200 g (1 1/2 cups) flour
  • 140 g (3/4 cup) sugar
  • 180 g (3/4 cup) unsalted butter
  • 4 chicken eggs
  • 10 g (1 tablespoon) baking powder
  • 400 g (2 cups) cherries (frozen)
  • 10 g (1 tablespoon) powdered sugar

Instructions:

  1. Soften the unsalted butter and beat it with sugar. Gradually add eggs to the resulting mass.
  2. Add a bit of flour, a pinch of salt, and baking powder. Mix with a mixer.
  3. Then add the remaining flour and mix again until smooth.
  4. Grease a detachable form with butter and spread the dough in it. Place frozen cherries on top of the dough.
  5. Bake at 160°C (320°F) for 50-60 minutes. Check the pie after half an hour with a wooden stick, repeating every 5 minutes until it comes out clean.
  6. Sprinkle the pie with powdered sugar and enjoy!
