Ingredients:
- Potatoes: 400 grams (14 ounces)
- Turkey (breast): 300 grams (11 ounces)
- Chicken eggs: 3 pieces, about 180 grams (6.3 ounces)
- Mayonnaise: 2 tablespoons, about 50 grams (1.8 ounces)
- Salt: to taste
- Black pepper: to taste
Instructions:
Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Boil the potatoes in their skins until tender (about 25 minutes). Boil the turkey breast in salted water for 20-25 minutes.
Dice the cooked turkey breast into small cubes.
Peel and dice the potatoes into cubes of the same size.
Fry the potatoes together with the turkey breast in a skillet until lightly golden brown. This will add extra crispiness to the casserole.
Beat the eggs, add mayonnaise or sour cream, sprinkle with pepper or other spices, and mix well.
Place the fried potatoes and turkey in an ovenproof dish.
Pour the egg-mayonnaise mixture over everything and place it in the oven for 20-30 minutes (temperature – 180ºC or 356ºF).
Once the egg is baked and a beautiful golden crust forms, the casserole is ready. Remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly.
Your simple potato and meat casserole is ready to serve. Enjoy!
