Ingredients for 40 servings:

  • Butter – 3.5 oz (100 g) + 1 tablespoon (15 g) for greasing the baking sheet
  • Salt
  • Egg – 1
  • Grated cheddar cheese – 3/4 cup (75 g)
  • All-purpose flour – 1 cup (120 g)
  • Water – 2 tablespoons (30 ml)
  • Dry mustard – 1 teaspoon (5 g)


Prepare the Dough:

Sift the flour, dry mustard, and salt into a bowl. Add the butter and mix until the mixture resembles fine crumbs. Stir in the cheese and cayenne pepper. Add the water. Lightly beat the egg and add it to the dough. Mix thoroughly until the dough is smooth.
