Ten Amazing Homemade Pizza Recipes
1. Pear Pizza with Gorgonzola Cheese
Instructions: Preheat the oven to 450 F (230 C). Add pizza dough to a baking sheet. Add on Provolone cheese and Bosc pearl slices. Add walnuts and Gorgonzola cheese. Bake for 8-10 min. until crust browns and cheese melts. Add chives when serving.
2. Chicago Pan Pizza
Instructions: Preheat the oven to 350 F (175 C). Add pizza dough to a baking dish (9×13, greased). Brown sausage in a skillet on medium/high setting until brown. Take out with a slotted spoon. Add to the pizza dough. To the top, add mozzarella cheese. Then, cook mushrooms and onion in a skillet until tender. Add in garlic powder, fennel seed, oregano, tomatoes, and salt. Add all over the cheese on the pizza. Add Parmesan on top. Bake for 25-35 min. until crust becomes golden.
3. Brussels Sprouts Pizza
Instructions: Preheat the oven to 475 F (245 C). Cook pancetta in 1 tsp. olive oil on medium heat in a skillet for 3-5 min. until fat releases. Place on paper towels to drain fat. Add 5 tsp. olive oil into the skillet and cook garlic for 20 sec. Add in Brussels sprouts and cook for 5-10 min. until they start to brown. Transfer them to a bowl and add the pancetta (crumbled) over top. Coat with mozzarella cheese and fennel seeds. Add pizza crust to baking sheet and add the entire mixture on top of the curst. Bake for 10 min. until crust is done and cheese is bubbly.
4. Football Pizza
Instructions: The oven needs to be preheated to 475 F (245 C). Add foil and then pizza crust to baking sheet. Make a mixture of 3 Tbsp. wing sauce with chicken. Add this to the pizza crust and add on blue cheese, more chicken mixture and top with celery and mozzarella cheese. Bake for 12 min. until cheese is bubbly and crust is done. Cool for 5 min. prior to cutting and serving.
5. Traditional Margherita Pizza
Instructions: Mix up 1 tsp. salt with flour. Let sit in a bowl. Then, mix up yeast, water and sugar in a second bowl. Let stand for 5 min. until yeast makes a foam. Add ½ the flour mixture of the yeast mixture. Stir in rest of the flour a little at a time. Mix after each addition. Dough should pull together. Then, put it on a floured surface and knead until smooth (8 min).
Add the dough to an oiled bowl and coat with the oil. Add a cloth over and let rise in a place that is 80-95 F for 1 hour. Punch the dough down. Make 4 equal balls. Preheat oven to 500 F (260 C). Pat out each dough ball to form a 10-12 in. diameter circle. Add dough to a pizza peel that has been floured lightly. Add ½ c. tomato sauce on top. Spread it out, stopping ½ in. from edge. Add 5 slices of mozzarella on top and then 5 basil leaves. Add 1 Tbsp. olive oil and sea salt on top. Do this for other pizzas as well. Add each pizza into the oven (pizza stone oven, preferably). Bake for 5-7 min. until cheese is bubbly and crust is done.
6. Garlic Chicken Pizza
Instructions: Add chicken breast and water to cover it to a saucepan. Boil for 20 min. until chicken is done. Drain and let sit to cool. Then cut into strips. Then, melt butter with onion, garlic and basil in a skillet on medium heat. Add this to a cool dish and put in fridge. Then,
preheat the oven to 350 F (175 C). Put pizza dough on pizza pan and add herb butter over top. Add chicken on top and dot the pizza with ricotta cheese. Top with cilantro, Parmesan cheese and tomato slices. Bake for 15-120 min. until cheese is bubbly and crust is done.

Instructions: In a saucepan, boil water with polenta and salt. Cook for 3-5 min. Add this to a pie plate. Cover and chill in the fridge. Then, preheat the oven to 450 F (220 C). To a skillet, add oil, onion, and bell pepper and heat on medium until soft. Then, add marinara sauce to the polenta crust that was cooled. Add the onion and pepper on top along with oregano, pepperoni and tomato. Add salt and pepper as well. Bake for 10 min. Add cheese and bake for another 2-3 min. to melt. Serve as slices hot.

Instructions: Add yeast over warm water in a bowl. Let sit for 5 min. Add in cold water and salt and add in 1 c. of flour at a time. When dough pulls together, put on a floured surface and knead for 10 min. Make into 2 balls. Add olive oil to each and put in the fridge for 16 hrs to let them rise. Take out 1 hour before using. Then, preheat oven to 550 F (for pizza stone oven, low rack). Dust pizza peel with flour. Add flour to each dough ball and make into 14 in. diameters. Add dough onto the floured peel. Add mozzarella slices, black pepper, dried oregano, crushed tomatoes and olive oil on top. If using a pizza stone oven, remove peel from the dough and leave only the dough in the oven to cook. Bake for 4-6 min. to let the crust start to brown. Take out using the pizza peel. Add basil leaves on top. Cut up into wedges and serve warm.

Instructions: Add warm water to white sugar. Add in yeast and let sit for 5 min. so yeast starts to foam. Add in 1 Tbsp. of olive oil. Then, add in ½ tsp. salt. Add in ½ flour mixture to the yeast water. Stir to remove dry spots. Add in rest of the flour (1/2 c. increments). Mix after each addition. When dough pulls together, knead for 8 min. on a floured surface. Oil a bowl and add the dough in. Coat the dough with the oil. Cover and let rise in warm place for 1 hour. Then, add to a saucepan crushed tomatoes, garlic powder, brown sugar, salt and 1 tsp. olive oil. Cover and cook for 30 min. Preheat the oven to 450 F (230 C). Punch dough down and put on floured surface. Cut into 2 pieces and roll each into a 12-in. circle. Add the dough to springform pans (9-in). Add 1 c. cheese on top. Add sausage patties on top. Layer on pepperoni, mushrooms, green and red pepper, and more cheese on top of the sausage patties. Add second dough round on top and seal the edges. Make holes in the top for venting.
