Other “Broom” Salad Variations

Apple Infusion:

Enhance the classic recipe by adding a tangy apple. For those who enjoy dried fruits, incorporate chopped dried apricots and prunes, contributing to intestinal cleansing and overall well-being.

Festive Veggie Blend:

Elevate the dish by introducing garlic, walnuts, bell pepper, and a pinch of salt to the classic mix. Substitute raw cabbage with sauerkraut for an extra kick. This variant makes for an impressive addition to any celebratory table without the post-feast heaviness.

Nutrient-Rich Combo:

Combine 40g white cabbage, 200g each of red beets and carrots, 1 tbsp lemon juice, and 1/2 cup pine nuts. Grate beets and carrots as in the classic recipe, finely chop the cabbage. Blend pine nuts, then add a spoon of lemon juice and mix thoroughly. Combine all vegetables and dress with the lemon-pine nut sauce.
