5-Minute Marinated Mushrooms


  • 1 kg mushrooms
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 0.5 tsp 70% vinegar essence
  • 500 ml water


  • 2 bay leaves
  • 6 black peppercorns
  • 6 whole allspice berries
  • 0.5 tsp dill seeds
  • 0.5 tsp mustard seeds

5-Minute Marinated Mushrooms


Rinse the mushrooms under running water and pat dry with a paper towel. If desired, peel the skin off the mushroom caps by gently pulling it towards the center with a knife.

Prepare the marinade for the mushrooms. In a pot, pour 500 ml of water and add black peppercorns, bay leaves, allspice berries, dill seeds, salt, and sugar. Place the pot on the stove and bring the liquid to a boil.

Add the mushrooms to the boiling marinade and cook for 5 minutes after it starts boiling.

Then add mustard seeds and vinegar essence, stir, and cook for another 2-3 minutes.

Transfer the cooked marinated mushrooms into sterilized jars, pour hot marinade over them, and seal with lids.

Once the jars of marinated mushrooms have cooled down, store them in a cool place for the winter.

Voila! Your 5-minute marinated mushrooms are ready! These mushrooms will turn out beautifully, with a delicious aroma and a wonderful taste.

When serving, dress the marinated mushrooms with onions and vegetable oil.
