Ingredients:
For 15 servings:
- 15 tomatoes
- 15 bulbs of onion
- 2-3 heads of garlic
For 1 liter of marinade:
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) vinegar
- 2 tbsp (30 g) sugar
- 2 tbsp (30 g) salt
- Aspirin tablets
- Bay leaf, black peppercorns, allspice, cloves
Yield: 4.5-5 liters
Instructions:
- Wash the vegetables and cut them into large pieces.
- Layer the tomatoes, garlic, and onions in clean sterilized jars, alternating until reaching the top.
- For the marinade, mix all the marinade ingredients and bring to a boil.
- Pour the hot marinade over the tomatoes and onions, filling the jars to the top. Place the jars in a pot of boiling water for 10 minutes. Seal with lids.
- The next day, your appetizer is ready to accompany your meat dishes, adding a burst of flavor to your barbecue.
