It turns out, oat flakes are a versatile ingredient. You can make not only traditional porridge but also tasty bars for a quick snack and even a delightful baked pudding. Let’s focus on the latter.

This fluffy oatmeal bake will elevate your breakfasts, proving that healthy and nourishing meals can be incredibly flavorful. You can add any frozen berries, but with cherries, the bake becomes exceptionally aromatic.

Baked Oatmeal: A Morning Delight

Ingredients:

  • Oat flakes – 12 tbsp
  • Water – 1.5 cups
  • Egg – 1
  • Cherries – 50 g
  • Walnuts – to taste
  • Cinnamon – to taste
  • Sugar – 3 tbsp
  • Apple – 1

Instructions:

  1. Pour boiling water over the oat flakes and let them soak for 5 minutes.
  2. Add diced apples, cherries, sugar, and egg to the oats, mix well.
  3. Place the oat mixture in a buttered baking dish, sprinkle with cinnamon and crushed walnuts.
  4. Bake for 30 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius (356 degrees Fahrenheit).
  5. Pour yourself a cup of aromatic coffee and start your day deliciously!
