Instructions:

  1. Soften the margarine at room temperature, avoiding complete melting.
  2. Chop the margarine and curd into small pieces using a knife.
  3. Gradually add sifted flour to the curd and margarine, kneading the dough. Finally, incorporate the dissolved baking soda.
  4. Once the dough is ready, pinch walnut-sized portions, roll them into balls, and flatten them into circles with your hands.
  5. Dip each circle into sugar on one side, fold it into a semi-circle with sugar on the inside, creating a crescent shape.
  6. Dip the crescent again into sugar on one side, fold it in half with sugar on the inside, forming a triangular shape.
  7. Coat one side of each triangle with sugar; this will be the top side of the cookie.
  8. Place the shaped cookies on a buttered baking sheet with the sugar-coated side facing up.
  9. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (392°F) for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Your “Kiss” curd cookies are ready! Serve them with a pot of tea and call your family to the table.

Enjoy your delightful treat!
