Ingredients:
- 500 g (1.1 lbs) mushrooms
- 2-3 cloves of garlic
- 50 ml (3.4 tbsp) 5% apple cider vinegar
- 50 ml (3.4 tbsp) vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup water
- 4-5 bay leaves
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 10 black peppercorns
- Fresh dill for garnish
Instructions:
Clean the mushrooms and cut larger ones into halves or quarters.
Press the garlic using a garlic press.
Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet. Add mushrooms, garlic, water, apple cider vinegar, bay leaves, sugar, salt, and pepper.
Cover the skillet with a lid and bring it to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
Allow the mushrooms to cool, sprinkle with finely chopped dill, and transfer to a jar. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
