- Kefir (2.5% fat): 1 cup (250 milliliters)
- Sugar: 5 tablespoons (60 grams)
- Baking soda: 1 teaspoon
- Salt: 2 grams
- Refined vegetable oil: 2 tablespoons (35 grams)
- Chicken egg: 1 (60 grams)
- Wheat flour: 4 cups (520 grams)
- Vanilla extract: 2 teaspoons (10 milliliters)
Instructions:
Sift the flour with the vanilla extract.
Mix kefir with baking soda and let it sit for 10 minutes.
Beat the egg with salt and sugar, then add the vegetable oil. Mix well.
Combine the egg mixture with the kefir. Gently mix.
Gradually add the flour and mix. The amount of flour may vary slightly.
The dough should not be heavy. If it sticks to your hands, grease it with vegetable oil.
Sprinkle the work surface with flour, roll out the dough to a thickness of about 2 cm. Cut out shapes using cookie cutters. If you don’t have cookie cutters, use a glass to cut out circles and make incisions on four sides, not reaching the center. During baking, they will spread and resemble flowers.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius (356 degrees Fahrenheit) for about 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
