Ingredients:
- Ground meat — 500 g (about 1.1 lbs)
- Zucchini — 3 pcs.
- Tomatoes — 450 g (about 1 lb)
- Onion — 1 head
- Cheese — 200 g (about 1 cup)
- Tomato paste — 2 tablespoons
- Eggs — 2 pcs.
- Sour cream — 200 g (about 1 cup)
- Salt — to taste
- Black pepper (ground) — to taste
- Butter — 10 g (about 1 tablespoon)
- Vegetable oil — 20 ml (about 1.5 tablespoons)
Instructions:
- Sauté the onion in vegetable oil until transparent, then add the ground meat and tomato paste. Cook until the meat is fully done.
- Grate the zucchini using a coarse grater, then squeeze out any excess moisture.
- Whisk the eggs with sour cream or mayonnaise.
- Grease a baking dish with butter and layer it with the following: cooked meat, zucchini, the egg and sour cream (or mayonnaise) mixture, sliced tomatoes, and top it off with grated cheese.
- Bake at 180 degrees Celsius (about 350 degrees Fahrenheit) for 30 minutes or until the top forms a golden crust.
