Perfect Homemade Melted Cheese Without Vegetable Fats and Preservatives

Ingredients:

  • 400 g (14.11 oz) cottage cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 50 g (1.76 oz) butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Salt to taste
  • Spices to taste

Instructions:

Press the cottage cheese through a sieve using a spoon. Add the egg, butter, baking soda, and salt.

Place a saucepan over low heat and stir everything until you achieve a uniform mixture. Then, add your desired spices.

Stir continuously until the mixture melts and the first bubbles appear. Remove from heat; otherwise, the melted cheese will turn out to have a consistency similar to feta cheese.

Transfer the mixture to a bowl and let it cool. Your melted cheese is ready. If it turns out too liquid, you can add cream next time.

You can also add some herbs for extra flavor!
