Giraffe - Tender Cream Cake with Cottage Cheese

Giraffe - Tender Cream Cake with Cottage Cheese



  • 7 oz cottage cheese (low-fat)
  • 3 chicken eggs
  • 10.5 oz sour cream
  • 7 oz unsalted butter
  • 12.3 oz sugar
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • Vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch


The butter should be soft. Add half of the sugar and thoroughly mix it together.

Then add one egg, cocoa powder, baking soda, and flour. Start kneading the dough. Let it rest in the refrigerator for 20-25 minutes.

Add sour cream to the cottage cheese and mix well. Add the remaining sugar, cornstarch, and the remaining eggs. Mix everything thoroughly once again.

Divide the dough into two halves: one larger and one smaller. Place the larger portion in a baking pan.

Form edges and pour the cottage cheese filling into the center.

Take small pieces from the smaller portion of the dough and roll them into small balls. Place these balls on top of the cottage cheese filling.

Bake for approximately 60 minutes at 350°F.
