- Chicken eggs – 2 pieces (120 grams)
- Lemon – 60 grams
- Unsalted butter – 150 grams (about 2/3 cup)
- Low-fat sour cream (15%) – 150 grams (about 2/3 cup)
- All-purpose flour – 80 grams (about 1/2 cup)
- Poppy seeds – 80 grams
- Vanilla – to taste
- Coconut flakes – 80 grams
- Baking powder – 1 teaspoon
- Chocolate – 100 grams
Instructions:
Melt 100 grams of butter in a microwave-safe bowl, add poppy seeds, and coconut flakes. Add a touch of vanilla and sugar.
Crack 2 chicken eggs into the bowl.
Add 15% fat sour cream to the ingredients in the bowl.
Pre-sift wheat flour to ensure a lighter and airier texture. Mix it with baking powder and add it to the bowl.
Wash the lemon and grate the zest. Add the zest to the bowl.
Mix the batter thoroughly to achieve a smooth consistency, ensuring there are no lumps.
Pour the batter into a baking dish and bake in a preheated oven at 180ºC (about 350ºF) for 30–40 minutes.
Once baked, transfer the cake to a plate and let it cool slightly.
Place the remaining 50 grams of butter in a bowl, break the dark chocolate, and melt it in the microwave. Stir well.
Spread the melted chocolate mixture over the top of the cake and sprinkle with coconut flakes. Chill the cake in the refrigerator for 10 minutes to allow the chocolate to set.
Enjoy your delightful creation!
