INGREDIENTS
- 1 kg mushrooms
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 0.5 tsp 70% vinegar essence
- 500 ml water
Spices:
- 2 bay leaves
- 6 black peppercorns
- 6 whole allspice berries
- 0.5 tsp dill seeds
- 0.5 tsp mustard seeds
STEP-BY-STEP RECIPE
Rinse the mushrooms under running water and pat dry with a paper towel. If desired, peel the skin off the mushroom caps by gently pulling it towards the center with a knife.
Prepare the marinade for the mushrooms. In a pot, pour 500 ml of water and add black peppercorns, bay leaves, allspice berries, dill seeds, salt, and sugar. Place the pot on the stove and bring the liquid to a boil.
Add the mushrooms to the boiling marinade and cook for 5 minutes after it starts boiling.
