Ingredients:
- Pita
- Assorted minced meat – 400 grams (0.88 pounds or about 3.5 cups)
- Chicken eggs – 3 pieces (180 grams)
- Ketchup – to taste
- Sour cream 25% fat (classic) – to taste
- Amateur mayonnaise – to taste
- Salt – to taste
- Spices – to taste
- Cheese – to taste
Instructions:
- Prepare the minced meat as you would for meatballs. Spread it evenly on the unfolded pita and let it rest for 10-15 minutes to absorb the juice from the minced meat, making it more elastic (so that the pita does not tear when rolled).
- Roll the spread pita into rolls. Grease the baking dish with butter and place the rolls in it.
- Prepare the filling with eggs, sour cream or mayonnaise, ketchup, spices, salt to taste. The filling should completely cover the rolls and even be about 1-2 cm higher.
- Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius (375 degrees Fahrenheit). Bake for 30 minutes. Sprinkle grated cheese on top 5-10 minutes before it’s ready.
Enjoy your meal!
