Ingredients:
For the Dough:
- 2 eggs
- 160 grams (1 cup) sugar
- 200 grams (7/8 cup) unsalted butter
- 260 grams (2 cups) all-purpose flour
For the Filling:
- 2 eggs
- 100 grams (1/2 cup) sugar
- 300 grams (1 1/4 cups) sour cream (20% fat)
- 5 grams orange zest
For the Curd:
- 2 eggs
- 40 grams (3 tbsp) sugar
- 400 grams (14 oz) cottage cheese (18% fat)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 oranges (about 400 grams), peeled and deseeded
For the Sauce:
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) milk
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 50 grams (1/4 cup) sugar
- 50 grams (1.8 oz) chocolate

- Coconut flakes
Cooking Instructions:
Preparing the Crust:
- Take the butter out of the refrigerator in advance to soften. Beat the butter with sugar until light and creamy, then add the eggs and beat again.
- Sift the flour into the butter-egg mixture and quickly knead the dough. If the dough is too soft, add a little more flour. Do not overwork the dough, or it will become coarse.
- Shape the dough into a ball, wrap it in plastic wrap, and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Preparing the Oranges:
- Place the oranges in a bowl and pour boiling water over them. Let them sit for 3 minutes, then drain the water. Repeat this process 2 more times to remove bitterness.
- Cut the oranges, including the peel, remove the seeds, and finely chop them using a blender.
- Transfer the chopped oranges to a saucepan, add 3–4 tbsp of sugar, and bring to a boil. Cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the filling thickens slightly. Allow to cool.
Preparing the Cheese Filling:
- Mix the cottage cheese with vanilla extract and 3 tbsp of sugar until smooth. Combine the sour cream with the egg and 100 g of sugar.
Assembling the Pie:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Roll out the dough and transfer it to a baking dish (use a round 30 cm or rectangular dish of similar volume). Roll a rolling pin along the edges to remove excess dough.
- Spread the orange filling over the bottom of the crust, then add the cheese filling.
- Pour the sour cream mixture over the pie and sprinkle with grated orange zest.
- Place the pie in the preheated oven and bake for 40–45 minutes. Remove the pie from the oven and cool completely before serving.
