Instructions:
- For Dough 1, sift flour with baking powder into a bowl, add sour cream, and knead the dough.
- For Dough 2, sift flour with baking powder into a bowl, add softened butter, and knead the dough.
- Shape each dough into a ball and place on a floured work surface.
- Roll out each dough separately into a 1.5 cm thick layer, then place one layer on top of the other.
- Roll out the combined dough into a 1 cm thick layer and fold it like an envelope.
- Roll out the dough again and fold it like an envelope. Repeat this process two more times.
- Fold the dough like an envelope once more, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- If making a double portion of dough, divide it after refrigeration and work with one portion at a time while keeping the other chilled.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangular shape about 0.5 cm thick.
- Cut the dough into two long strips and then cut each strip into triangles with a base of about 4-5 cm.
- Place the filling at the base of each triangle and roll them up into crescent rolls, slightly stretching the corners of the base to ensure the middle of the roll isn’t too thick.
- Arrange the crescent rolls on a baking sheet, leaving some space between each roll.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) until golden brown, about 12-15 minutes.
- Allow to cool completely, then dust with powdered sugar.
Enjoy your delightful crescent rolls!
