Ingredients:

  • Cherries with pits – 3 kg (6.6 lbs)
  • Sugar – 2 kg (4.4 lbs)
  • Vodka – 1 liter (33.8 fl oz)

Instructions:

Place the ripe cherries in a 3-liter jar and add 1 kg (2.2 lbs) of sugar and 0.5 liters (16.9 fl oz) of vodka on top. Seal the jar with a cloth and position it in a sunny spot or a warm location. Allow it to infuse for 6-7 days, shaking the jar daily.

After the infusion period, strain the mixture, removing the cherries and transferring the syrup to a separate container. To ensure the syrup is free of impurities, place cotton wool in the funnel.

Add the remaining vodka and sugar to the syrup, gently warming it to dissolve the sugar.

Filter the cherry liqueur once more until it’s clear, using cotton wool in the funnel. Let it sit for an additional day. After this step, your homemade cherry liqueur is ready. All that’s left is to pour it into bottles and seal them tightly!

  • Sugar – 2 kg (4.4 lbs)
  • Alcohol (spirits) – 0.5 liters (16.9 fl oz) or 1 liter (33.8 fl oz) of vodka
  • Additional water

Instructions:

Place 2 kg of pitted cherries in a 3-liter jar, add 2 kg of sugar, pour in 0.5 liters of alcohol or 1 liter of vodka, and top off the remaining space with water.
