Ingredients:
- 1.06 oz (30 g) unsalted butter
- 7.76 oz (220 g) sugar
- 7.76 oz (220 g) sour cream
Instructions:
Take equal parts of sour cream and sugar, and add a bit of unsalted butter. Combine in a saucepan.
Place the saucepan over medium heat, bringing the mixture to a boil while stirring continuously. Initially, you’ll see small bubbles forming on the surface. Keep stirring consistently and don’t step away from the stove.
After a while, the mixture will resemble condensed milk. Keep stirring to prevent sticking to the bottom of the pan. If you desire a darker color, cook for a bit longer. The stirring will become more challenging, but increase the intensity.
When you achieve the desired color for your fudge, remove it from the heat and add the unsalted butter. Mix the butter into the mixture vigorously.
Quickly pour the thick mixture into molds or onto a flat surface. Grease the molds with butter beforehand.
If you’re pouring the fudge onto a flat surface, make cuts with a wet knife while the mixture is still warm.
Let the fudge cool and set.
Remove the fudge from the molds and divide into portions.
