15-Minute Yeast Dough: Every Second Counts!

Ingredients:

  • Milk: 500 ml (2 cups)
  • Wheat flour: 5 cups
  • Sugar: 2 tablespoons
  • Salt: 0.5 teaspoon
  • Sunflower oil: 2 tablespoons
  • Yeast (dry, small packet): 11 grams

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, combine 4 cups of flour and yeast. Gradually pour in warm milk, then add sugar, salt, and sunflower oil. Mix all ingredients well.
  2. Gradually add another cup of flour while stirring. Once combined, transfer the dough to a plastic bag and store it in the refrigerator.
  3. You can start using the dough in as little as 2 hours, but it can also be refrigerated overnight without any adverse effects. This dough is incredibly versatile and forgiving.
  4. On this occasion, I made jam-filled pastries. With this amount of dough, you can make approximately 60 small pastries.
  5. There won’t be any leftovers by the end of the day!
