Peanuts are a legume crop and, like most members of this glorious family, are very healthy. Consumption of peanuts stimulates immune processes in the body, improves brain function and can even relieve depression. Try some delicious peanut butter cookies.
- Peeled whole peanuts 100 g
- Butter 200g
- Powdered sugar 200 g
- 1 egg
- Flour 2 cups.
- Vanilla sugar 1 package.
- Leavening powder 2 tsp.
- Chopped peanuts 100g
Sift the flour and add the baking powder.
Beat separately softened butter and powdered sugar, add the egg and vanilla sugar.
Gradually pour in the flour and baking powder, add the chopped peanuts, knead the dough and chill for 30 minutes.
Roll out the dough, cut it into 20-25 slices crosswise, gently press each one.
Place cookies on baking trays lined with parchment paper, sprinkle with sugar and whole peanuts, bake for 15-20 minutes at 180°C.
