The dish is light, healthy, contains vegetable protein, which is so necessary for our body.
- Oregano peas – 1 tbsp.
- eggs – 2 pcs.
- Pecorino cheese – 30 gr.
- black pepper.
- vegetable oil for frying
Boil the peas for 40-50 minutes
Rub it through a sieve to get a homogeneous puree.
Add nutmeg, pepper, Pecorino cheese and two egg yolks to the mashed peas. Salt the mashed peas to taste.
From the resulting mass form Croquettes in the form of a barrel, dip them in whipped whites, then in breadcrumbs.
Deep-fry the Croquettes until golden brown.
Serve hot with sour cream or yogurt sauce and herbs.
