Ingredients for Cottage Cheese Rolls:

  • Flour – 450 g (about 3.5 cups)
  • Cottage cheese – 250 g (1 cup)
  • Butter – 100 g (7 tablespoons)
  • Egg yolks – 2 pieces
  • Sugar – 1/2 cup
  • Baking soda – 1/4 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice – 1 teaspoon
  • Vanilla pod

How to Prepare Cottage Cheese Rosettes:

  1. Mash egg yolks with sugar, butter, and cottage cheese.
  2. Add baking soda extinguished with lemon juice and flour.
  3. Mix the dough thoroughly, roll it out, and cut circles using a cup.
  4. Arrange three circles overlapping each other. Roll them into a small tube and cut in half with a knife.
  5. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper (or a silicone mat, or simply grease it with butter). Arrange the rosettes on it.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 170 degrees Celsius (340 degrees Fahrenheit) for 20-30 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle the still-hot rosettes with powdered sugar, coconut flakes, or chocolate.
