Pan-Fried Cottage Cheese Bars

Ingredients:

  • Cottage Cheese (9% fat) – 10.6 ounces (300 grams)
  • Refined Vegetable Oil – 2 tablespoons (35 grams)
  • Wheat Flour – 3 tablespoons (50 grams)
  • Baking Powder – 0.07 ounces (2 grams)
  • Baking Soda – 0.07 ounces (2 grams)
  • Vanilla – 0.035 ounces (1 gram)
  • Salt – 0.035 ounces (1 gram)
  • Sugar – 2 tablespoons (30 grams)
  • Sour Cream (25% fat) – 1 tablespoon (25 grams)
  • Chicken Egg – 1 piece, about 2.1 ounces (60 grams)
  • Powdered Sugar – 2 tablespoons (30 grams)

Instructions:

Thoroughly mash the cottage cheese to remove any lumps. In a deep bowl, combine the cottage cheese, egg, sour cream, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, salt, vanilla, and flour. Mix the ingredients thoroughly. You may need a little more flour depending on the consistency of the cottage cheese.
