Ingredients:
- Wheat Flour: 10.6 oz (300 grams)
- Baking Soda: 1 teaspoon
- Salt: 1 teaspoon
- Buttermilk: 1 cup (7 fl oz or 200 grams)
- Hunter Sausages: 4 pieces, 8.8 oz (250 grams)
- Cheese: 3.5 oz (100 grams)
- Tomato Sauce: 3 tablespoons, 2.6 oz (75 grams)
- Herbs: 0.7 oz (20 grams)
Instructions:
Prepare all the necessary ingredients. If you can’t find buttermilk, you can substitute it with kefir.
Mix all the dry ingredients: flour, salt, and baking soda, and stir well. Then pour in the buttermilk and mix thoroughly with a wooden or silicone spatula.
The batter should be homogeneous, not too liquid and not too thick, like for regular cakes.
Into the prepared dough, add half of the sliced smoked sausages, grated cheese, and half of the tomato sauce.
Mix everything thoroughly and transfer to a small rectangular baking dish greased with vegetable oil. Spread the remaining tomato sauce on top, add the remaining sausages, grated cheese, and chopped herbs (basil, spinach, or parsley).
Bake the pie-pizza in the oven for 20–30 minutes at a temperature of 350°F (180°C).
Serve the hot pie-pizza. It doesn’t even need any garnishes as it turns out very vibrant and juicy.
