To prepare homemade natural lollipops in just 10 minutes using the microwave, you will need the following ingredients:
- Sugar – 80 g (about 2.8 oz)
- Juice – 20 g (about 0.7 oz)

The key is to maintain the right proportions.
For myself, I found that a 1 to 4 ratio works best – four times more sugar than liquid. The liquid can be water, juice, unsweetened essence, and so on. I made some with apple and lemon juice and others with grapefruit juice. Honestly, the difference is not very noticeable, except when using only lemon juice, which adds a noticeable tanginess. I don’t see the need to add lime or vinegar.
So, it’s all pretty straightforward. Mix the liquid and sugar in a microwave-safe container; I usually do it in a glass jar.
Set the microwave to 900 Watts.
For the batch that turns slightly darker, I microwaved it for 3 minutes; for the lighter batch, I did 2 minutes and 20 seconds.
