What makes the tastiest hot dogs? You guessed it—homemade ones. After all, you’ll prepare them using the finest ingredients and tailor them to your own taste. Try this recipe with fried sausage, cherry tomatoes, and green onions. Feel free to skip the mayo if you prefer.
Ingredients (Serves 3)
- Hot Dog Buns: 3 pieces
- Sausages: 3 pieces
- Cherry Tomatoes: 250g (8.8 oz)
- Green Onions: 2 stalks
- Mayonnaise: 50ml (1.7 fl oz)
- Ketchup: To taste
- Spicy Mustard: To taste
- Olive Oil: 1 tbsp
Instructions
Pan-fry the sausages in olive oil until golden brown.
Remove the core from the cherry tomatoes and dice them finely.
Slice the hot dog buns lengthwise, leaving one side intact.
Spread mayo inside each bun, add a few cherry tomatoes and a sausage.
Top with ketchup, spicy mustard, and more mayo. Sprinkle with green onions. Repeat with the remaining buns and filling.
