Ingredients:
- Butter – 7 ounces (200 grams)
- Vanilla – 0.035 ounces (1 gram)
- Powdered Sugar – 2.5 ounces (70 grams)
- Oranges – 2 pieces, about 10.6 ounces (300 grams)
- Pear – 1 piece, about 8.8 ounces (250 grams)
- Baking Powder – 1 teaspoon
- Sugar – 1 cup (160 grams)
- Chicken Eggs – 3 pieces, about 6.3 ounces (180 grams)
- Wheat Flour – 2 cups (260 grams)
- Salt – a pinch
Instructions:
Beat egg yolks with sugar using a mixer, then add softened butter, let it rest for a few minutes, and add salt, vanilla, baking powder, and mix with flour. The dough should not be stiff and dense, but soft. Place it in the refrigerator while you prepare the rest.
Beat the chilled egg whites with powdered sugar, adding a drop of vinegar at the end to achieve stiff peaks.
Peel and slice the pear (apple), and also peel the oranges and separate them into segments.
Grease a baking dish with butter, spread the dough and flatten it with your hands, then place it in a preheated oven at 430°F (220°C) for 15 minutes to bake the crust. Then arrange the pear and orange segments on top and cover with the meringue.
Return to the oven for another 20 minutes. It’s best to serve the pie cooled to prevent it from leaking.
Enjoy your delightful apple-orange pie!
