Ingredients:
- 200 g (1 1/2 cups) flour
- 140 g (3/4 cup) sugar
- 180 g (3/4 cup) unsalted butter
- 4 chicken eggs
- 10 g (1 tablespoon) baking powder
- 400 g (2 cups) cherries (frozen)
- 10 g (1 tablespoon) powdered sugar
Instructions:
- Soften the unsalted butter and beat it with sugar. Gradually add eggs to the resulting mass.
- Add a bit of flour, a pinch of salt, and baking powder. Mix with a mixer.
- Then add the remaining flour and mix again until smooth.
- Grease a detachable form with butter and spread the dough in it. Place frozen cherries on top of the dough.
- Bake at 160°C (320°F) for 50-60 minutes. Check the pie after half an hour with a wooden stick, repeating every 5 minutes until it comes out clean.
- Sprinkle the pie with powdered sugar and enjoy!
