  • Sugar: 700g (3.5 cups)
  • Ground cinnamon: 1/2 tsp (2.5g)
  • Pears: 2kg (4.4 lbs)
  • Muscat wine: 300ml (1.25 cups)
  • Cloves: 3

Instructions:

Prepare the Pears: Wash the pears, cut them into quarters, and remove the cores. Chop the pears into small pieces.

Cook the Pears: Place the chopped pears in a large pot, pour in the Muscat wine, add the cloves, and cook until the pears are completely soft and cooked down.

Puree the Mixture: Pass the cooked pear mixture through a sieve to create a smooth puree, then return it to the pot.
