Ingredients:
For the Dough:
- Butter – 250 g (about 1 cup or 8.8 oz)
- Kefir – 1 cup (250 ml)
- Baking powder – 1 packet (10 g)
- Flour – 3 cups (480 g)
For the Crumb Topping:
- Flour – 3/4 cup (120 g)
- Sugar – 3/4 cup (150 g)
- Butter – 100 g (grated)
Preparation:
For the Dough:
Grate butter, add 1 cup of kefir, baking powder, and flour.
Quickly knead the dough and refrigerate for 1 hour.
For the Crumb Topping:
Mix flour, sugar, and grated butter until crumbly. Chill in the refrigerator.
Divide the dough into 6 portions.
Roll out the first portion thinly (about 4-5 mm) and sprinkle with part of the crumb topping.
Roll out another portion, cover the first layer, sprinkle with crumbs, and lightly press.
Repeat the process with all portions. Do not sprinkle the last layer. Cut into sectors.
Bake at 180°C (356°F) for 35-45 minutes.
