INGREDIENTS:

  • Flour – 150 g
  • Brown sugar – 130 g
  • Quick oats – 130 g
  • Unsalted butter – 120 g
  • Honey – 20 g
  • Water – 1 tbsp
  • Baking soda – 1/2 tsp
  • Baking powder – 1 tsp

INSTRUCTIONS:

In a bowl, combine flour, quick oats (cooked no longer than 3 minutes), and brown sugar. Mix well.

In a saucepan, combine unsalted butter, honey, baking soda, baking powder, and water.

Heat the mixture on low heat, stirring until the butter is melted. The mixture should become foamy. Remove from heat.

Pour the hot mixture into the bowl with dry ingredients. Mix well using a spoon and then use your hands until the dough becomes homogeneous.

Place half of the dough onto a parchment paper, form a rectangle. The dough will be crumbly, but you can help it by using the parchment paper.

Roll out the dough to 4 mm, cut out the cookies using a cookie cutter.
