Get ready to elevate your dinner game with this delectable French-style meat dish served with a tangy mustard sauce. It’s a perfect combination of savory flavors that will leave your taste buds craving for more.
Ingredients:
- Black pepper to taste
- Cheese – 200 grams (7 ounces)
- Salt to taste
- Tomatoes – 4 pieces, 400 grams (14 ounces)
- Onions – 2 pieces, 350 grams (12.34 ounces)
- Parsley – 30 grams (1 oz)
- Garlic – 3 cloves, 15 grams (0.5 ounces)
- Mustard – 50 grams (1.8 ounces)
- Light Mayonnaise – 50 grams (1.8 ounces)
- Pork – 500 grams (18 ounces)
Cooking Instructions:
Cut the pork into pieces approximately 1.5 cm thick. Do not make them too thin, or the meat may dry out in the oven and lose its flavor.
Gently pound each piece of meat on both sides with a meat tenderizer. Season with salt and pepper.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent the meat from sticking and to avoid any sauce drippings from burning. If parchment paper is unavailable, grease the baking sheet with oil.
Prepare the sauce. Finely chop the parsley (dill is also suitable).
Grate the cheese using a coarse grater.
Crush the garlic using a garlic press or grate it finely.
Add mustard sauce or sweet mustard and mayonnaise. Mix everything well.
Place sliced onions on top of the meat pieces, followed by tomatoes sliced into rings.
Spread the sauce with cheese generously over the tomatoes.
Bake in the oven until cooked through. If the sauce starts to brown before the meat is fully cooked, cover each piece of meat with foil.
Enjoy your meal!
