Ingredients:
- 500 grams (17.6 ounces) of mushrooms
- 60 milliliters (2 fluid ounces) of vinegar (9% acidity)
- 120 milliliters (4 fluid ounces) of vegetable oil
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 10 black peppercorns
- 2 teaspoons of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 4 bay leaves
Instructions:
Wash the mushrooms. For large mushrooms, cut them into quarters, for medium-sized ones, cut them in half, and you can leave small ones whole.
In the pot where you’ll be cooking the mushrooms, prepare the marinade. Mix the vinegar, vegetable oil, sugar, salt, and add the black peppercorns and bay leaves.
Place the mushrooms in the marinade and press the garlic through a garlic press into the pot.
Cook, stirring, for 5 minutes after it comes to a boil. At first, it may seem like there’s not much liquid, but the mushrooms will release a lot of juice very quickly.
Transfer the mushrooms to a jar, let them cool, and refrigerate for 4 hours. After 4 hours, they are ready to eat.
