Get ready to enjoy a mouthwatering French gratin that will impress your taste buds. You don’t have to be in a fancy restaurant to savor this classic dish – you can easily make it at home with this simple recipe.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- 1 pound of chicken fillets
- 0.66 pounds of mushrooms
- 0.44 pounds of sour cream
- 0.44 pounds of grated cheese
- Two onions
- 1.76 ounces of flour
- 1 fluid ounce of vegetable oil
- 0.7 ounces of butter
Instructions:
Slice the mushrooms into small pieces.
Place the mushrooms in a skillet without oil and cook them in the liquid released by the mushrooms until the liquid evaporates.
Add the chicken fillets, cut into small pieces, to the mushrooms. Add butter, pour vegetable oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and fry for 15 minutes.
It is preferable to cover the skillet with a lid, allowing the ingredients to simmer.
After 15 minutes, remove the lid and add the onions to the cooking dish. Fry for an additional five minutes.
In a separate container, mix the flour and sour cream until you achieve a smooth consistency without lumps. Transfer this mixture to another skillet and heat it until it simmers.
Place the chicken and mushroom mixture into individual baking dishes. Pour the hot sour cream mixture over it, and sprinkle grated cheese on top.
Bake the dishes in a preheated oven at 356°F (180°C) for 35 minutes, allowing the cheese to melt and form a delicious golden crust on top.
