- 200 grams (7 ounces) Chilled Butter
- 1 tsp Cocoa Powder
- 300 grams (10.5 ounces) Flour
- 150 grams (5.3 ounces) Sugar
Filling:
- 300 grams (10.5 ounces) Cottage Cheese
- 2 Eggs
- 0.5 tsp Baking Soda
- 2 tbsp Sour Cream
- 3-4 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Semolina
- A handful of Prunes (Plums)
- Melted Chocolate for garnish
Instructions:
- Combine chilled butter with flour and sugar to create a crumbly mixture. Add cocoa powder and mix well.
- For the filling: mash cottage cheese with sugar, add baking soda, semolina, eggs, sour cream, and chopped prunes. Mix thoroughly.
- Spread 1/3 of the crumb mixture into a baking pan, followed by half of the filling, then another layer of crumb mixture, and so on. The top layer should be the crumb mixture.
- Bake at 180°C (356°F) for 40-50 minutes.
- Allow the cake to cool completely in the pan.
