Ingredients:
- Cottage cheese (9% fat), 300 grams (10.6 ounces)
- Chicken egg, 1 piece (60 grams)
- Cheese, 50 grams (1.8 ounces)
- Salt, to taste
- Wheat flour, 5 tbsp, 100 grams (3.5 ounces)
- Sesame seeds, 1 tbsp, 15 grams (0.5 ounces)
Instructions:
Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Choose a relatively dry cottage cheese that almost crumbles in your hands, as it will help prevent the dough from becoming too watery.
Grate the cheese using a coarse grater, then mix it with cottage cheese, egg, and salt. Mix everything well. Then add half of the flour, knead thoroughly. If the mixture is too liquid, add more flour. Continue adding flour until the mixture resembles dough. It should be easy to work with.
Divide the resulting dough into 5 equal parts. You can make more rolls, but they will be thinner and less tender. Shape each part into a finger-thick sausage, then join them to form a ring. Place the rings on a baking sheet and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
Bake the rolls in the oven at 180°C (350°F) for 15-25 minutes, until golden brown. Let the baked rolls cool for a bit before serving; they will become softer.
