INGREDIENTS:

  • 500g oat biscuits
  • 650g sour cream (20% or 25% fat content)
  • 2 bananas
  • 4 tbsp powdered sugar
  • Chocolate for decoration

INSTRUCTIONS:

Add the powdered sugar to the sour cream and mix well.

Line a round springform cake tin with plastic wrap.

Cut the bananas into thin slices.

Spread a small amount of the sour cream mixture over the bottom of the tin.

Layer the oat biscuits on top of the sour cream mixture, spreading more sour cream on top of each layer of biscuits.

Arrange the banana slices over the sour cream.

Continue layering the biscuits and sour cream mixture until you’ve used up all of your ingredients.

Cover the top of the cake with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.

Remove the cake from the fridge and discard the plastic wrap from the top.

Melt the chocolate in a microwave or double boiler.

Pour the melted chocolate over the top of the cake.

Slice and serve chilled.
